About P.S.Sarmiento & Sons, Inc.
The company started as Sarmiento Motors Corporation, a motor repair shop at the corner of Times Street and Edsa Avenue, in 1963. This later became EMS Corporation, which engaged in the buying Philippine Handicrafts for export abroad. Then in August 15, 1972, the company amended its corporate name to become what is now P.S.Sarmiento & Sons, Inc., with a new address at 121 Mother Ignacia Avenue, Quezon City.
As P.S.Sarmiento & Sons, Inc., the company organized itself to engage in various lines of business but not limited to:
- Buy and sell of real estate;
- Acquire and develop subdivision;
- Operate and lease hotel and apartelle;
- Manage restaurant, cafe and bar;
- Develop and manage agricultural lands and fishponds.
The company has an authorized capital stock of P33,000,000 broken down into 330,000 shares with a par value of P100/share. Total subscribed and paid up capital is P19,806,200 fully owned and controlled by the family of Pablo S. Sarmiento. Its stockholdings are equally divided among the children of Mr. Pablo S. Sarmiento, Sr.
The company has various undertakings but the big bulk of business is into Real Estate Development. It has finished two (2) subdivision projects, one in Marilao, Bulacan with an area of about two (2) hectares as Sarmiento Homes-Marilao and the other Sarmiento Townville with an area of 4.3 hectares in Poblacion, San Jose Del Monte City, Bulacan.
The on-going project at Muzon, San Jose Del Monte City, Bulacan comprises twenty-seven (27) hectares of land and more than three-thousand (3,000) subdivision lots and housing units. An adjoining lot involving 1.7 hectares is for development also as subdivision.

- Sarprime Estate Corp., the operator of Daungan Restaurant
